Sundae was rescued from a shelter where she was in desperate need of medical attention. When we found her she had lost a significant amount of hair from a yeast infection on her skin. She was very thin and had several parasites and she was positive for heartworms. She was also born without a lens in her left eye so she has no vision in that eye and limited in her right eye but that doesn't slow her down. She is approximately 2 year old and has had a very rough start to life. At first she was not comfortable with being petted but now as she is getting more comfortable and trusting she immediately rolls over for a belly rub. She always has to have a ball with her. She doesn't play with them she will just carry it around and chew on it. She is very calm and sweet. She will also need surgery to repair her cherry eye. Sundae is currently going through heartworm treatment and is available as a foster to adopt only. She will be adoptable once her treatment is finished.
