Hi my name is Mason. I am a long-haired Dachsund so I am a LOW-RIDER. My legs are super short and it almost seems I will rub the ground. Of course I am pretty overweight so that doesn't help the tummy rub but I am on a diet and already losing some. I am super sweet and always happy. I love life and you can tell just by watching me run around. My favorite thing in the whole world, other than snuggling with my foster dad, is eating. Boy do I perk up at food time. Running around and barking my adorable bark so excited for my food. 

I had been living in a chicken coop making babies for the past few years. They didn't care for me at all and even though I had signs of being ill no one took me to the vet, until I arrived at Tired Dog Rescue. They scooped me right up and brought me to the vet and they diagnosed me with having Cushing's Disease. I take just a pill a day and am already looking and feeling better. It caused me to lose my hair so soon I will have long flowing beautiful locks like I used to have.

I am working on my potty training. It was so hard because the disease caused me to drink a lot of water so I had to potty a LOT. That is getting better but will need a home with people who will be patient and help me get back on track. 

I am an older boy prob around 10-years-old. I am fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, neutered and microchipped. I even just had my teefies cleaned so I am ready to go to my new home.
