Sometimes in life special dogs are made for special people. I need one of those special, very loving people to care for me. I’m a five year old cocker spaniel named Gracie and I just need someone to love. I am a nervous pup and take medicine to help keep me calm. I need a calm home without children, because they have a little too much energy for me. I have all my shots, am chipped, and I know to use the bathroom outside. I enjoy playing, but also cuddling. If you’re looking for a great doggy to bond with, I could be it, if you give me the chance! My adoption fee is $250 and that helps keep my foster family in business so that super special pups like me get a second chance in life!
Tired Dog Rescue asks that you please think carefully before adopting a Cocker Spaniel. Cocker Spaniels are a very high maintenance breed. They must be brushed 1-2 times weekly to keep their fur from matting. Grooming cost averages about 60.00 every 6-8 weeks. Cockers must have weekly ear cleanings to avoid infection and costly trips to the vet. If you are not prepared for the time and cost of owning a Cocker Spaniel please consider a lower maintenance breed. Please note that Tired Dog Rescue will not adopt Cocker Spaniels to homes that have small children living in the home or that visit the home often. If you are interested in any of our dogs please fill out an application at www.tireddogrescue.com All adoptions require a home visit and vet check. Adoption fees range from 150.00-250.00. This fee covers all vaccinations, spay/neuter and any other medical treatment needed. If you have questions you may call Terry at 228-254-6305 or go to our website. Thanks for looking!!
We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
