This beautiful girl just came to us from Pensacola, FL. Her fur was in bad shape and had to be shaved all the way down. When her hair grows back she will be stunning. As is typical she came from the shelter with kennel cough and is currently being treated. She should be clear in the next two weeks. Breez is very loving and full of personality. She loves to run and play and jump for the ball. I will be adding better pictures in the next few days. I just wanted to share her quickly. She also has a full tail which makes her even more special. The shelter had said she was 2 years but we are thinking more like 1. She is still very much a puppy. So curious and very active. Breeze is spayed, up-to-date on shots and heartworm negative. Tired Dog Rescue asks that you please think carefully before adopting a Cocker Spaniel. Cocker Spaniels are a very high maintenance breed. They must be brushed 1-2 times weekly to keep their fur from matting. Grooming cost averages about 60.00 every 6-8 weeks. Cockers must have weekly ear cleanings to avoid infection and costly trips to the vet. If you are not prepared for the time and cost of owning a Cocker Spaniel please consider a lower maintenance breed.
