Meet Minnie – A Tiny Girl with a Big Heart!

Minnie is a sweet, 6-year-old red Miniature Chihuahua weighing just 11.8 lbs. This darling girl was surrendered to us after her beloved owner passed away, and now she’s searching for a forever home where she can be cherished once again.

Minnie is house trained, spayed, and has the soulful eyes and gentle spirit only a Chihuahua can bring. She absolutely loves to snuggle and will happily curl up beside you for hours of love and companionship.

Minnie does have a medical condition—she’s experienced multiple seizures recently, including 8 in a single day last week. However, she is now on daily seizure medication (Keppra) and hasn’t experienced another seizure since starting treatment. She remains strong, resilient, and otherwise seems to be doing well.

Minnie will need a home that understands her needs and can provide her with the safety, comfort, and medical support she deserves. If you have a big heart for special dogs and are ready to open your home to a loving companion, Minnie is ready to give you her whole heart in return.

Apply to adopt Minnie at Tired Dog Rescue — let’s give this sweet girl the second chance she so deeply deserves!

More about Minnie

Good with Dogs, Good with Adults, Independent

Special Needs: seizures

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
