Bella Joy is a sweet 8 year old Yorkie weighing 13 pounds. Bella Joy is housebroken and leash trained and loves walks. Very playful and would love another dog to play with. She gets along fine with cats. She loves to be near her human and snuggling under the covers when it’s bedtime.

Bella Joy does have an enlarged heart that pushes on her trachea and because of that she does occasionally cough and wheeze.   Bella Joy does also have Degenerative Valve Disease and is on 2 lifetime medications, one for her heart and one for the respiratory wheezing but she takes both of her medications like a champ in her food. Bella Joy has a great appetite but CANNOT EAT GRAIN FREE FOOD. Bella Joy doesn’t let that get in the way of being a sweet, loving, playful lady who just wants to be near her human.

Bella Joy has had a hard year after losing her human so it may take her a few days to decompress and start to feel comfortable and not as shy but when she does you’ll be amazed!

If Bella Joy sounds like she would be a great fit for you, please apply at www.TiredDogRescue.org.

Good with Dogs

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
