**Meet Sumner!**

Sumner is a handsome 1.5-year-old male Cockapoo weighing in at 10.6 lbs. This playful pup gets along well with other dogs and has done great with house training. He walks like a pro on a leash and enjoys a variety of toys.

Though he might take a little time to warm up to new people, once he does, he's a total sweetheart. Sumner is comfortable in his crate when you need to step out, and he's learned to use doggy stairs to join you on the couch. He sleeps soundly through the night on a doggy bed in the bedroom but isn't quite ready for the big bed yet.

Sumner loves car rides and isn’t aggressive around food or toys. He's not very vocal, having barked only a couple of times. This lovable pup adores emptying his toy basket and especially loves his nylabones.

Sumner is current on his vaccinations and is being treated for heartworm. He will be neutered prior to adoption. We are seeking a local adopter within 45 minutes of the Gulfport area.

More about Sumner

Good with Dogs

Special Needs: Heartworm positive currently started treatment

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
