Why hello there!  My name is Jack Frosty, but really you could name me whatever you like because I won’t respond to it!  I am a VERY well-mannered pup, but you see, I’m deaf!  I respond to hand signals, smiles, and clapping!  Honestly, I’m always, always by my humans so calling my name is pointless anyways since I’m already right by you!  I do need someone with patience for a special needs puppy!

A little about me, I am a seven-month-old white male toy poodle and weigh approximately seven pounds.  I am almost full grown so shouldn’t get much bigger.  I am heartworm negative, up to date on all my shots, and neutered!

I don’t like to brag but my foster mom wants everyone to know that I am the SWEETEST dog ever.  I love people and want nothing more than to be around them at all times.  Cuddling is my expertise!  When held, I will nuzzle in next to your neck and go motionless.  I just love being held and doted on!  My foster mom likes to carry me around in a sling which I think is the best invention ever!  I would live in that thing if she let me.  I like to go into public with her and take my sling naps in between people watching!

I am doing really well with my house training!  I do not mark and know to go to the yard to do my business.  I would do best with someone that is able to let me outside every few hours though as I’m still a baby and need frequent breaks.

I am great with other dogs big and small and would love a buddy to play with if possible.  I like to follow my foster brother around the yard and when he goes running to our foster mom, I know she must be calling!  I would do ok as a solo dog too and would be happy getting all of your love.  I am also good with cats and children.  I’m all around a happy guy!

I do have a poodle coat which means I don’t shed but will need frequent grooming to keep me looking my best.

Please don’t let the fact that I’m deaf turn you away.  My foster mom has already taught me hand signals for, “Come,” “No/leave it,” “Good dog,” and we’re working on sit!  I know to keep my eyes on her so I can be ready for whatever command!  Deaf dogs are also expert sleepers.  Nothing disturbs us all night!  I wouldn’t make the best watch dog, but you can bet I won’t be barking at a random squirrel at 2 am!

Speaking of sleep, I love my naps!  I am young but my foster family says I’m one of the calmest, relaxed puppies they’ve ever had!

I would love a yard I can follow you around in or someone to take me for walks.  I like smelling everything outside and running in the grass.  I never ever go too far from my foster mom though!  I like to follow her everywhere!

I love toys….a lot.  I am a bit of a hoarder and like to take all the toys around the house.  They are just so much fun!  I would like a home with lots of toys to play with!

If you think a cuddly soft baby with icy blue eyes would be the perfect fit for your home, please apply today! www.tireddogrescue.org
