Roscoooooooeeeee!  That's my name!  Roscoe!  I am a very friendly male, five-year-old, 15 pound, Shih tzu Pekingese mix!  I have gorgeous long black hair (that is shaved a little funny right now due to some matting - but it will grow back beautiful!) and the sweetest face.  I am heartworm negative and will be up to date on all my shots and neutered before adoption!  
 
Star Wars fan??  I am the perfect companion for you!  Can you imagine having your own Chewbacca in the house!  Extreme fan level!  I have never seen the Star Wars series and would love to binge watch them on all on the couch with you!  Cuddling is my expertise!  Maybe a few kisses too!  Everywhere I go, people always stop to say how cute and adorable I am.  I try not to let it go to my head, but I'm starting to think I could be a movie star myself! 
 
I am working on my house training and doing really well!  I do really well in a routine and with a yard that I can go wander around in to do my business.  If you have some time, maybe we could do some sun basking together!  I will gladly follow you around the house if you're busy too!  
 
I am crate trained but really prefer to just sleep on my bed or even better, in bed with you!  That would be a dream come true.  I am non-destructive and just like to lounge around.  
 
I don't know how I will be with cats or children but it can be tested before hand if needed.  I'm a pretty even tempered guy, so I don't think it would be an issue.  I love all other dogs and would love to have a companion in my forever home.  Maybe a little dog that looks like a Ewok to complete the Star Wars package?  Imgaine the cuteness!
 
I am currently receiving eye drops but the drops shouldn't be permanent.  I will just need an owner who is comfortable administering eye drops until I am all better.  I am such a good boy for them, I know the drill!  I will do anything you want for a snack!  I also have patella luxations in my knees but it hasn't bothered me! 
 
I just can't wait to find my own humans.  Humans that will brush my long hair, tell me I'm handsome, and give me endless belly rubs.  I will return the favor with a lifetime of love!  If you think you need a little Chewbacca in your life, please apply today!  www.tireddogrescue.org
