Hi everyone!  My name is Chouli and I am the sweetest dog you will ever meet in your entire life.  There's not one mean bone in this floofy body of mine.  I am a two year old chocolate labradoodle...or maybe a poodle..not quite certain...but no matter what, I'm adorable!!  I am going to be spayed soon and up to date on all my vaccinations.  I weigh around 40 pounds but I need to gain quite a bit yet to look my absolute best! I am the size of a smaller standard poodle in height.

When I was brought to the rescue, I was a floofy disaster.  My beautiful chocolate curls were badly matted which started to cause sores and some had some stinky stuff stuck in them.  It was a holiday weekend, and my foster mom took matters into her own hands to make me more comfortable.  What a relief to have all that gone!  But, I definitely need to see a groomer yet...stand by for more beauty pictures when my coat looks nice again!  For my future human, please know that my coat will take lots of maintenance with brushing and trips to the groomer so I don't end up like that again!  

I am housebroken and completely crate trained.  I am a very chill girl and would prefer to be out and about in the house with you though.  I get along with all dogs and I think I would be good with cats.  My foster mom has chickens and I could care less about those things.

I love to be held and talked to.  It's my favorite thing ever.  I went the first few years of my life not getting much of that and I want to make sure I get all the pets and love for the rest of my days.  If you could just hold me and look into my beautiful hazel eyes nonstop, I would be in heaven.

My foster mom calls me a velcro dog.  I love to be with her at all times.  Preferably touching her in some way.  Sometimes I rest my head on her leg, sometimes I lay on her feet, sometimes I just lay across her lap.  I can't get enough of touching humans.  If you don't like a clingy dog, I might not be the one for you.  I love humans and I need one that loves me!  Sometimes I even like to stand up on my foster mom just to get back rubs and hugs.  I think she loves it as much as me.  It always seems to make her smile!

I walk really good on a leash and off a leash.  I will never leave your side.  I also know my name really well so if I do go a few feet away to smell something, I will come right back if you say my name!  I would love a home with a yard or at least someone that likes to go for walks.  I will nap all day on the couch but I do like going for strolls outside.

I love toys and have not been destructive in my foster home at all.  Also, not one bark has come from me!  I'm a quiet girl!  I would be ok as an only dog or with a buddy or two...I'm easy to please!

I think I would be good with children, but I don't want to be with puppies.  I was a mother several times in my short life already and I have very little patience for baby dogs now.  I think I just want to make sure I don't have to raise those things ever again!
