Calling all squish face lovers!  My name is Mei Ling and I am a six year old black female pug that weighs approximately 20 pounds!  I am heartworm negative and scheduled to be spayed the first week in September.  I'm a complete little pug package.  

Mei Ling means beautiful bell or beautiful spirit in Chinese.  And that's exactly what I am.  Anyone that knows or has owned a pug knows how special we truly are!  Speaking of bells though, I do make the typical pug noises so if you are annoyed by snoring or grunting, I may not be the right fit for you.  My foster mom finds it completely adorable! 

I am a pug so I need an owner that can be careful with me in the heat.  Pugs cannot handle the heat well at all and will need a cool place to rest during the day!  Also no long walks or strenuous exercise. 
I love to lay in my bed and hang out with the other foster dogs during the day!  

I love to be near my foster mom and act like her little pug shadow.  Oh you wanted privacy in the bathroom?  Not on my watch!  I will follow you to the ends of the earth.  I love my humans so.  

I do have some skin issues my foster mom is currently treating and they should be cleared up in a couple weeks with medication.  I'll be good as new! 

I walk well on a leash but would prefer to have a harness on due to being a pug.  We weren't blessed with the best breathing systems so keeping collars from pulling on our throats is the safest option.  I will gladly follow you around the yard!  I am good with other dogs, children, and all people.  Pugs are the jokers of the dog world and I am sure to make you laugh! 

I am housebroken and could go in a crate, however, it's not needed.  I have always been left loose in the house when my humans left for the day and I was just fine.  I find naps very entertaining.  I also love looking out the window and watching the birds and squirrels play.  I'm an easy girl!

My fur is so soft and gorgeous.  I've been told I look like velvet!  I am a pug and do shed though.  Previous pug owners understand this but if you're a first-time pug person, I thought I should warn you!  My foster mom calls it pug confetti.
