Well I’m back better than ever. My name is Burtis and I’m a 9 month old terrier mix.My foster mom calls me Burtis Burtis because I’m too cute to have just one name. I am full of energy and spunk. The lovely people at TDR pulled me from the shelter to have a better chance at life. And good thing because I had a bad ticker. But that’s old news. I am all better now! I will have to have future echos to make sure my heart is fully functioning.
I am a lover boy. I am a big snuggler and love to be by my person. My floppy ears like to steal the show bc my foster mom says it gets me out of trouble. I love going for car rides and playing with my foster siblings. I don’t meet a stranger and I am good with dogs. I’ve been around cats but I’m not to sure what they are yet. I love chewing on bones and carrying them around when I play outside to show them off. When it’s time to come back inside, I have the cutest little prance. I just love life and so thankful to be loved. ❤️
I LOVE going for boat rides. Honestly, I’m not picky about anything. I just like to be included in your plans.
I am kennel trained and mostly house trained. I sleep well in the kennel at night, but will occasionally wake up in the middle of the night for play time. But I got back to sleep pretty quickly.
I am up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, and ready for an energetic home!
Special Needs: The follow up echo is scheduled for October 26th at 11:30. It’s $224 He also is on a daily medication that is life long. $5 at Walmart for a month
We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
