Kelsey is the sweetest Cocker Spaniel you will ever meet. She is approximately 11-years-old and weighs 26lbs. She lost her home when her owner passed away. You can tell she was loved greatly and misses that connection because she wants to be with you always. Definitely a Velcro-dog. She is good with all her foster dog brothers and sisters, big and small. I haven’t had her around cats but judging by her personality I expect she will do fine. I also think she would do well with kids but we will test that theory to be sure. Kelsey is scheduled in a few days for a dental to clean up those pearly whites as well as removing a small lesion on her gums. She is very hard of hearing or possibly deaf but she has her eye on you always, so it is pretty easy to communicate with her. Other than that, she is healthy as far as her tests show.

She hasn’t shown much interest in toys yet mostly just wants to be with you. She would love to ride in the car, go for walks and just chill and watch tv. Kelsey LOVES to nap and must be touching you while she does.  Such a snuggly baby!!! She does not really interact with the other dogs but doesn’t mind them either so she would be good with or without other dogs.

She is housebroken and great when left alone in the house although she will cry loudly when you leave but that stops after a few minutes. Keep this in mind if you are in an apartment. That may be an issue. She will also do that if you try to keep her out of the room with you. As long as she can see you she is fine. She does not have to be on your lap but would love that if you let her.
