"MY NAME IS MITZI JANE" (local adoption only) "I am super sweet and I love everyone, including other dogs. I am playful and vocal when fired up, but … I’m terrified of houseflies! I do not mind being in a crate at bedtime. I have an overbite that makes eating different, just make sure my bowl is full! Before I am adopted, I will be fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and have my teeth cleaned. Unfortunately, I am heartworm positive. Tired Dog Rescue will be taking care of the treatment. I will have to be adopted by someone close to the Mississippi Gulf Coast so I can received my treatment. I am looking for someone to give me a forever home." More about Mitzi: 3-year-old Dachshund, 12 pounds, house-. leash- and crate trained. She also gets along with cats and small children. Available through Tired Dog Rescue, Gulfport, MS. Fee: $275. Apply at tireddogrescue.org

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
