MARVELOUS MILLIE There are rescues and then there are dogs like Millie. This 4-year-old Beagle mix came from a hoarder's home where there were 65 other dogs. It's hard to believe she could make it through such chaos with a sweet disposition intact, but she did. She's still skittish but overall very friendly and playful. Millie loves other dogs. Check out the video of her playing with one of her foster siblings. She also enjoys toys. As a dedicated chewer, she needs safe toys and chews available at all times. Millie is working on house training, and she does great in the crate and goes in when asked. Her foster mother has begun leash training, too. Like a lot of dogs, she hates baths but she did tolerate a nail trim without a fuss. She's always up for a car ride and gets along with children. TDR has no info on how she feels about cats. Millie is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and has been be spayed. She is heartworm positive and finished with treatment however needs to remain calm until February 2023. In order to keep her with the same vet, her adoptive family should be in the Gulfport area. Available through Tired Dog Rescue, Gulfport, MS. Fee: $275. Apply at tireddogrescue.org

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
