OH, BABY, BABY! Lucinda is a 4-month-old Rat Terrier who is overflowing with energy and personality. Her previous owners just didn't have time to train her or take care of her. Lucy weighs a little more than 10 pounds, is on schedule for her vaccinations, and also has a microchip. In a few months, she will be old enough to be spayed. Her foster mom describes her as "they happiest dog ever." This is a friendly, goofy and playful girl who is doing great in foster care. She's getting along very well with her doggie foster siblings. She loves car rides and being "attached" to her foster mom via a carrier. An active family that likes to take their dog with them on adventures would be perfect, but keep in mind that Lucinda is a puppy with razor sharp teeth who likes to chew. A family with small children might not be best. Lucy is making progress with house training ... and everythine else ... and still has a lot to learn, so she will need a furever family committed to showing her the ropes. Available through Tired Dog Rescue, Gulfport, MS. Fee: $175. Apply at tireddogrescue.org.

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
