NOT AN ORDINARY COONHOUND. Aspen is a calm, gentle and loving hound mix. She came to TDR as a stray and was in terrible condition, infested with fleas and ticks and with overgrown nails. Good vet care and a safe foster home with plenty of TLC has allowed Aspen to heal and blossom into a healthy, gorgeous lady. She is about two years-old and weighs 42 lbs. Aspen does great with people and other dogs. Although she hasn't been around children, her foster parent is confident that she would remain her sweet and gentle self with them. Hounds need exercise, so a family that will keep her moving, and has a fenced-in yard, is a must. Aspen is housetrained, and like all TDR dogs, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her shots, and heartworm negative. Available through Tired Dog Rescue, Gulfport, MS.
