My name is Gunner and I am an ADORABLE male Dachshund about 5 years old. I am a pretty good guy. I live with a couple of cats or what I call mean dogs with no personality. If they just lie there, I am ok but when they get up to move I will bark at them. I have 3 doggie foster brothers and sisters  and I like them all!!! There is also an 11-year-old human that I like a lot too. In my opinion she isn’t the best-behaved human I have ever met but I still am very gentle with her. I do ok in the crate although I prefer not to be in it. So far I am not too interested in those annoying little squeaky toy things they give me but my foster mom assures me I will LOVE them.

I am potty trained but still “mark” a little. I was just neutered so that should slow and hopefully stop soon. I like to go on walks and make everything I see mine. So, a slow stroll so I can smell each and every blade of grass would be great. My foster mom says I am a great car rider too so let’s go cruising!!!

My favorite thing to do is snuggle up to my human whether watching a movie or napping in bed. I am a typical Doxie and do typical Doxie things like dig so make sure to be out there with me to keep me safe and distract me from any bad habits.

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, neutered and microchipped!!
