George is a 3.5 yr old timid but lovable little guy. He is 22 lbs. He hasn't always been given the patience and compassion that a dog like him desperately needs. George has lived with a family with children as young as 8 years old but can be protective if other dogs in the house so no young children. Even greater, he is house trained!!! His new family will need to give him ample time to come around as he gets accustomed to his new environment, especially one that has a man in the household. He is kennel trained too but has learned that he would much rather be out than in. He also gets along with most other dogs as long at they aren't in his face. Kitties aren't his thing either.  George LOVES to ride in the car and is a perfect gentleman.

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
