My name is Klaus the schnauzer and I’m a distinguished gentleman looking for forever love. I am around 7 years young, weigh 21 lbs., neutered, microchipped, house trained, leash trained and up to date on my vaccines. I am a perfect fit if you want a well behaved older dog who is always ready with a wag or snuggle to make your day. My foster Mom says I’m nearly perfect because I’m great with other dogs, children, and meeting all of your friends would be the highlight of my day.
My coat and skin were in really bad shape when I was first rescued by Tired Dog and my skin is still a little dry and flaky, but my foster Mom is working on making it better. I love cookies and can sit or sit-up on command for my treat. By the way, did I mention that I don’t beg for food at the table? Although I am crate trained I will fuss at first then settle down, but since I am such a good boy I would prefer to just chill in the house. I just had my dental done and had to have 10 teeth removed, but I feel so much better.
My adoption fee is $125. Please fill out an adoption application at tireddogrescue.com if you want the love of your life

More about Klause

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
