Jacob is a Schnauzer who is approximately 5-years-old and weigh 22lbs. He was found on the streets by a nice lady and brought to the vet to be scanned for a chip. He does have a chip but it was not registered so TDR took him in and put up pics but still no one called to claim him. As you can see by his face that that may be a very good thing because it APPEARS (not for certain) that my mouth was bound closed for a long period of time. No dog deserves to be treated this way and especially not Jacob as this boy is the absolute sweetest and well-behaved boy there ever was. He is very friendly, loving. Great with dogs and LOVES children and loves both men and women. He is housebroken but not a fan of a crate. He would be a great fit for any family. Unfortunately, he is heartworm positive and will need to complete treatment prior to adoption but can go to a home in south, MS as a foster dog until treatment completed. If you are looking for a PERFECT companion to love this is your guy.
