About Misti | |
|
|
Misti, 4-years-old, is a great snuggler and has the most beautiful silky hair. Her past times are hanging out on her pillow through the day and laying on the back of the couch to supervise the pack and keep them in line. Misti loves belly rubs and will reward you with one of her sweet little kisses. Ms. Misti prefers to be the only princess in the castle, so she would do well in a home without another female dog. She is very fearful at first, but once she warms up, she will be your shadow. Misti stays in her room through the day when her foster momma is at work with no accidents. Misti will "mark" if another female dog is in the home.
Misti is the sweetest girl, and comes around for some love, rewards you with a quick kiss and goes and finds her a comfy spot usually on the couch. Misti has been spayed, up to date on all vaccinations including rabies, and is now ready for a furever home. Misti gets along great with male dogs, all cats, and older children. Papillons are fine boned and therefore small children are not recommended.
When first brought into foster, Misti escaped out the door, and went missing for 3 days. When she was found, she had been hit by a car. With a broken jaw and broken pelvis, the only residual effect is that you might see Misti hop a few times on her back leg because of this accident, obviously Misti requires a fenced yard to stay safe. You don't see a lot of Papillons in this part of the country but Papillons are highly intelligent and easy to train.
Please consider adoption it saves lives! Contact Tired Dog Rescue for more information on how to meet this sweet lady. The adoption fee is 150.00
We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
