About Brandy (foster to adopt, HW pos)

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog

My name is Brandy. My foster mom calls me Brandy lion for fun. I am an older gal probably around 10. I seem to have lost my hearing but work well with hand signals. I know when mom waves her hand it is probably time to go out or time to eat. I am always hoping it is time to eat. In fact just tonight my fellow foster friends knocked over a container of food and I ate until I looked like a Macy’s Day parade float. My foster dad was none too happy when he came into that scene but he said that my tummy ache would be punishment enough. He is such a kidder. He loves me and I love him. I am quiet about my love but I will come for a pet to let them know. Then I go back to bed and rest. My second favorite past time after eating of course.
I would like a home I can just chill and enjoy the rest of my life. I am very low key and don’t need to be entertained. I do know to go potty outside but you need to wave me out every now and again so I don’t forget.
Adopting an older dog means so much to us and you will never regret opening your home and your heart to a senior.
Unfortunately I am heartworm positive and will need to start treatment in a few weeks. Don’t panic you can still take me home. As long as you live close to the south MS area you can still foster me during treatment and then adopt me when I am through.
My fee is going to be 150.00. I am spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, I will be heartworm negative and I will be microchipped. Please fill out an app at www.tireddogrescue.com
THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING A RESCUE AND EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY A SENIOR RESCUE.

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
